Arabic Ad Voiceover Script Templates: 11 Saudi-Dialect Scripts
11 copy-ready Arabic ad voiceover script templates in Saudi dialect, for stores, cafés, real estate, Ramadan and National Day, with word counts per length.
On this page
An Arabic ad voiceover script is the exact text the voice will say in your ad, written to fit its length and in your audience's dialect. Below are 11 copy-ready Saudi-dialect templates, for a store, café, real estate project, app, clinic, garage and training course, plus Ramadan, National Day, White Friday and Eid, along with the structure behind them so you can write your own.
Each template lists the dialect (Najdi, Hijazi, Gulf or MSA), the length, and a one-line delivery note, with an English translation underneath. Swap your details into the brackets, then read it aloud against a stopwatch before you record.
How to structure an Arabic ad voiceover script
A simple structure works for most short ads: five parts, always in this order. Each answers a question in the listener's head, and when one is missing the ad feels unfinished.
| Part | Job | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Hook | Stops the scroll | "Weekend offer!" |
| Offer | What they get | "30% off all perfumes" |
| Reason | Why act now | "Free delivery to Jeddah and Makkah" |
| Call to action | One clear step | "Order now from the link" |
| Sign-off | Brand name last | "[Store name], [tagline]" |
Here are the first three parts in a short Hijazi spot. The hook is two words, and the reason names both cities instead of saying "selected cities." In English: "Weekend offer! Thirty percent off all perfumes, and free delivery to Jeddah and Makkah."
Add one call to action and the store name, and you have a 15-second ad.
How many words fit in a 15- or 30-second Arabic ad?
A rough rule: Arabic ad voiceover runs at about 2 to 2.5 words per second. This table is built on that rule, so use it for planning, not as a measurement:
| Length | Arabic words, approx. | Room for |
|---|---|---|
| 6 seconds | 12–15 | Hook and brand name |
| 15 seconds | 30–37 | One offer, one call to action |
| 20 seconds | 40–50 | Offer, reason, call to action |
| 30 seconds | 60–75 | All five parts |
| 60 seconds | 120–150 | A short story or service explainer |
Numbers count as the words they're spoken as. "1250 riyals" becomes alf u mitein u khamsin riyal, four words. A calm read, like an Eid greeting, fits fewer words than the table. For TikTok and Snapchat specs and how to import the audio, see our guide to Arabic AI voiceover for TikTok and Reels.
Five writing rules for Saudi ads
- Name the city or district. "Free delivery inside Jeddah" is clearer than "free delivery to selected cities," and Jeddah listeners hear that it's for them.
- Use numbers people actually say. "99 riyals" is easier on the ear than "98.75 riyals." Say dates the way people say them ("23 September", or "this Thursday"), not "23/9."
- One call to action. "Book from the link" is enough. "Visit us, call us and download the app" splits attention, and listeners do none of it.
- One dialect from start to finish. Don't open in Najdi and close with an MSA line.
- Say the brand name twice: once early or mid-ad, once at the close.

How do you turn a script into a voiceover?
You have three routes. Record it yourself if your voice is clear and your room is quiet; that suits an owner who wants to be the brand's voice. Hire a human voice actor, usually the better choice for a big TV campaign or an ad that needs acting. We compare both costs in our guide to voice-over prices in Saudi Arabia.
Or use Arabic text to speech, the fastest route when you need many versions: one per city, or one per weekly offer. Here's the same kind of everyday line in two dialects. The Najdi one says "Hey! Shall we start? Type any text and leave the voice to us." The Gulf one says "Welcome. Your order number 452 has arrived, and delivery will be tomorrow between 4 and 6 in the afternoon."
In Samar you paste the script, pick a dialect, and it's vocalized automatically, with one-tap edits to any word's vowels; the Pro plan adds a pronunciation dictionary for your brand and product names. Mind the licence for ads: on Samar, the Creator plan covers social media commercially, and the Business plan covers radio and TV.
What can't your ad promise in Saudi Arabia?
Start with the simple rule: don't promise what you can't deliver. "Delivery within an hour" has to hold in every district the ad reaches, or name the districts. Don't say "the best," "the cheapest" or "number one" unless you can prove it.
Discounts. The Ministry of Commerce has published nine controls on discounts in shops and online stores (in Arabic). They include:
- Getting a discount licence before advertising the sale, and displaying it.
- Real discounts only, with no misleading claims or price manipulation.
- Stating the discount range ("from … to …") clearly and specifically.
- Showing the price before and after the discount on reduced items.
- Disclosing the exchange and return policy during the sale.
That's why the sale templates above say "from [lowest]% to [highest]%" rather than "up to …% off."
The flag and emblem on National Day. The Ministry of Commerce bans using the Saudi flag, the state emblem, and the images or names of leaders and officials (in Arabic) in commercial dealings, at all times including National Day. A sincere spoken greeting needs none of them.
Religious occasions. Ramadan and Eid greetings are normal and welcome. Don't turn Quranic verses, hadith or prayers into a sales slogan or a hook for an offer.
The short version
A good Arabic ad script is short and ordered: hook, offer, reason, one call to action, brand name. Budget about 2 to 2.5 words per second, name the city, use numbers people say, and stick to one dialect. For sales, get the licence first and state the discount range as it really is.
Paste one of these templates, filled in, into Samar's free demo and hear it in Najdi, Hijazi and Gulf before you choose.
Frequently asked questions
Should an Arabic ad script be in MSA or dialect?
Use your audience's dialect when the ad targets a city or region, because it sounds closer to the listener. Simple MSA suits real estate, education and pan-Arab audiences. Either way, don't mix the two in one ad.
Can I use these templates in my own ads?
Yes, they're written for you to copy and adapt. Replace the bracketed placeholders with your details, and make sure every price and offer is accurate and any discount is licensed before you publish.
Should I use a male or female voice for an Arabic ad?
There's no fixed rule. Pick the voice that fits your audience and product, and if you can, test both versions on a small campaign and keep the one that performs better.
Do I need a licence to advertise a discount in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. The Ministry of Commerce's discount controls require a discount licence before the sale is advertised, a clearly stated discount range, and the price before and after the discount shown on reduced items.
How long should a Snapchat or TikTok ad be?
Snapchat accepts video ads from 3 to 180 seconds, and TikTok in-feed ads accept videos up to 10 minutes. A single offer usually fits in 15 to 30 seconds.
