ElevenLabs Arabic: Saudi Accents, SAR Pricing and Pronunciation Tips
ElevenLabs Arabic for Saudi users: which models support Arabic, how to find Saudi and Gulf voices, plans in SAR with VAT, licensing and pronunciation tips.
On this page
Yes, ElevenLabs supports Arabic in all its current multilingual models, gives you 10,000 free credits a month, and its cheapest paid plan is $6 a month (about SAR 22.50 before tax) as of October 2026. Its newest models list Arabic as a single language, though, so a Saudi or Gulf accent mostly comes from the voice you choose rather than from a dialect setting.
This guide is for users in Saudi Arabia: what ElevenLabs offers for Arabic per its official pages, its cost in riyals, how to get better Arabic out of it, and what its licence allows. We're the team behind Samar, a Saudi text-to-speech tool, so at the end we'll say when a local tool may suit you better, and when ElevenLabs is still the better pick.
Does ElevenLabs support Arabic?
Yes. The models page lists Arabic for every current text-to-speech model except Flash v2, which is English only:
| Model | Languages | Arabic | Limit per request |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eleven v4 | 90+ | Yes | 10,000 characters |
| Eleven v3 | 70+ | Yes | 5,000 characters |
| Multilingual v2 | 29 | "Arabic (Saudi Arabia, UAE)" | 10,000 characters |
| Flash v2.5 | 32 | Yes | 40,000 characters |
ElevenLabs' Eleven v4 page recommends switching to v4 and testing it with your own content. Multilingual v2 is the only model whose language list names Saudi Arabia and the UAE next to Arabic; v4 and v3 just say "Arabic".
The docs also note that smaller models such as Flash v2.5 can read numbers less naturally than larger ones. If your script is full of prices and dates, start with v4.
Does ElevenLabs have Saudi or Gulf Arabic voices?
Partly, and it depends on the voice. There's no separate Saudi dialect in the v4 language list, but three things help:
- The Voice Library: community members share professional clones of their own voices there. Pick Arabic in the language filter and an Accent filter appears, where you can look for voices described as Saudi or Gulf.
- How v4 handles accents: the docs say v4 preserves a voice's accent when you generate in the same language the voice was recorded in. Choose a voice recorded in Saudi Arabic, write Arabic text, and the accent carries through.
- The experimental accent tag: v4 accepts tags such as
[strong X accent], which the docs describe as experimental and less consistent across voices.
Also note that ElevenLabs' pre-made voices are English, so they may not have the right accent in Arabic. Look in the library for a voice whose native language is Arabic.
Is ElevenLabs free for Arabic?
Yes, within limits. The free plan gives you 10,000 credits a month, and text to speech costs one credit per character. ElevenLabs estimates 10,000 characters at about 10 minutes of audio on v4; Arabic may differ depending on the voice and pace.
The free plan in short:
- No commercial licence, and attribution is required when you publish (see the licensing section).
- Credits don't roll over to the next month.
- Some library voices are blocked for free users, with the message "This voice is not available for free users".
- Via the API, library voices aren't available on the free tier.

ElevenLabs pricing in Saudi riyals
ElevenLabs prices in US dollars, and the pricing page says prices exclude all taxes. Its billing docs say local-currency checkout is offered in India only, so from Saudi Arabia you pay in USD. Here are the monthly plans as of October 2026, at 3.75 SAR per USD:
| Plan | USD | SAR, approx. | If 15% VAT is added | Monthly credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 | 0 | 0 | 10,000 |
| Starter | 6 | 22.50 | 25.88 | 30,000 |
| Creator | 22 | 82.50 | 94.88 | 121,000 |
| Pro | 99 | 371.25 | 426.94 | 600,000 |
| Scale | 299 | 1,121.25 | 1,289.44 | 1,800,000 |
| Business | 990 | 3,712.50 | 4,269.38 | 6,000,000 |
At ElevenLabs' own estimate of about 10 minutes per 10,000 characters on v4, Starter is roughly 30 minutes a month, Creator about two hours and Pro about ten. Regenerations count too, since credits are charged per generation, not per download.
Worth knowing before you pay:
- Annual billing gives two months free: Starter works out at $5 a month (about SAR 18.75) and Creator at $18.33 (about SAR 68.74).
- Creator's first month is shown at $11 (about SAR 41.25).
- Unused credits on paid plans roll over for up to two months while the subscription stays active.
- Payment methods: credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay; prepaid cards aren't directly supported.
- Bank fees: paying in dollars may mean a foreign-currency fee from your bank.
VAT in Saudi Arabia is 15%. The fourth column assumes the full rate is added; the checkout page shows the final figure.
How to get better Arabic pronunciation in ElevenLabs
1. Choose a voice recorded in Arabic
Since v4 keeps a voice's accent when it speaks the voice's own language, the voice is your most important setting. Filter the library by Arabic, then by accent, and audition three or four voices with a real line from your script.
2. Add tashkeel to ambiguous words and names
The model guesses vowels you don't write. Mark words that can be read more than one way, such as عِلْم ('ilm, knowledge) and عَلَم ('alam, flag), and place names such as عُنَيْزَة (Unaizah). You don't need to mark every letter; our tashkeel guide explains when partial marking is enough.
Each diacritic is a separate character in the text, so watch the character counter after you add them.
3. Write numbers the way you want them said
The best-practices docs say text normalization is on by default, but recommend writing numbers and currency out in words when you need a specific reading. In dialect this matters more, because the spoken form differs from MSA:
| Instead of | Write | Said as |
|---|---|---|
| 1250 ر.س | ألف وميتين وخمسين ريال | alf w mitein w khamseen riyal |
| 4:30 | أربع ونص العصر | arba' w nuss al-'asr (half past four, afternoon) |
| 0551234567 | صفر خمسة خمسة، واحد اثنين ثلاثة… | digit by digit |
4. Use punctuation for pauses
v4 and v3 don't support SSML break tags; for them, the docs recommend punctuation such as ellipses (...) and splitting text into sentences and lines. The v2 models accept a break tag of up to 3 seconds. This line means "Welcome to customer service. To track your order, press one":
أهلًا فيك في خدمة العملاء. <break time="1.0s" /> لمتابعة طلبك اضغط واحد.
The docs warn that too many break tags in one request can make the delivery unstable.
5. Set Stability deliberately
v4 has two settings: Stability and Similarity. Lower stability gives more expressive, varied delivery; higher stability keeps the performance close to a fixed baseline. For IVR prompts and ads that need matching takes, raise it; for stories and narration, lower it a little. Generate key lines two or three times and keep the best.
6. Use a pronunciation dictionary for recurring names
ElevenLabs supports pronunciation dictionaries in Studio and through the API. For Arabic, the simplest rule is an alias: the word as it appears in your text, mapped to the spelling you want read, for example ابها → أَبْهَا (Abha). Phonetic IPA entries for languages other than English need v4 or v4 Turbo, per the docs.
Can you use ElevenLabs audio commercially?
According to ElevenLabs' official licensing article:
| Free | Paid | |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial use | No | Yes, except Beta Services |
| Attribution | Required: "elevenlabs.io" or "11.ai" in the title | Per your agreement |
| After cancelling | n/a | Audio made during the subscription stays usable commercially |
So a file you made before subscribing, or after cancelling, can't be used commercially, even with the same voice. Content made with Beta Services can't be used commercially at all. To invoice your company, add your tax ID in the Tax ID section of your subscription's billing details.
When a Saudi-specific tool may suit you better
ElevenLabs is a broad platform, and it's the better choice in plenty of cases: content in many languages (v4 covers 90+), dubbing, sound effects or music in the same place, a large voice library, or Arabic dialects other than Saudi ones. For enterprises it also offers private deployments in your own cloud.
If your work is mostly in Saudi dialects, compare on points you can check:
| ElevenLabs | Samar | |
|---|---|---|
| Currency | USD, taxes excluded | SAR, VAT included |
| Payment | Credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay | mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay |
| Dialects | "Arabic"; accents labelled by voice owners | Separate Najdi, Hijazi, Gulf and MSA voices |
| Tashkeel | No tashkeel editor; add marks by hand where needed | Automatic, editable with a click |
| Pronunciation dictionary | Studio and API | Pro plan |
| Cheapest commercial licence | Starter: about SAR 22.50 + tax | Creator: SAR 29, for social media |
| Data location | Private deployment for enterprises | In-Kingdom hosting on Business |
One licensing difference favours ElevenLabs: all its paid plans include a commercial licence, while Samar's Creator licence covers social media, with radio and TV on the Business plan. Samar's plans are on its pricing page, and our Saudi text-to-speech guide explains the four dialects.
The short version
ElevenLabs handles Arabic at the model level; your job is to pick a voice recorded in your accent, then add tashkeel, spell out numbers and set stability. Plans are in dollars without tax, so budget an extra 15% when you work out the riyal cost. The free plan is for testing and non-commercial sharing with attribution.
Type a line from your script into Samar's free demo and hear it in Saudi dialect before you decide which tool fits your work.
